This website is constructed so that you "follow the menu" at the top of this page. Right now, you are on the HOME page.
After you finish reading this page, you start at "ABOUT" and go through its subpages, then "TRIBES" and its subpages, etc. If you do that, you will be taken on an orderly tour of the WISDOM website.
For now, here is a brief introduction to WISDOM.
What is WISDOM?
Simply put, WISDOM is interactive.
WISDOM comes from debate and inquiry, with differeing views freely expresssing themselves. For this reason, WISDOM has tribes: each tribe representing a different viewpoint. (TRIBES will be discussed under the ABOUT and TRIBES menu items.)
We encourage everyone in our audience to join the "tribe" that most closely represents their point of view. Each tribe has a "chief" that leads the tribe in conversations, and also is charged with keeping the peace among the tribe members.
The WISDOM FORUM BOARD has two purposes: to permit you to talk with other members of your own tribe; also, to permit you to talk to anyone in the common area -- where anyone of any tribe can view comments.
Through the WISDOM forum board, tribe members can have discussions among themselves --- either in a public forum, or privately (via email).
The Hallmark of WISDOM
We will NEVER tell you what to think. You are intelligent: you can make that decision for yourself; WISDOM just presents the information for your consideration.
In the future, WISDOM will launch a web series with a panelist from each tribe. I am sure that those panelists might become quite stubborn at time. That is OK. We can respect their opinions, and you can consider those opinions when making your opinion -- which will also be respected!!
After all, debate and inquiry is how we discover information and learn.
